Warren Letton trained in Lighting Design at Rose Bruford College and has since specialized in Theatre, Opera and Musical Lighting. Based in the UK, Warren has worked on many productions in London’s West End, across the UK and internationally. He has lit numerous productions in the Linbury Theatre at the Royal Opera House and designs regularly for the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Opera House. Opera and musical theatre credits include Rigoletto (Bucharest National Opera), Macbeth and The Lady from the Sea (Scottish Opera), Fortunio (Grange Park Opera & Buxton Festival), The Magic Flute (Longborough Festival Opera), Tosca (Grange Park Opera at Nevill Holt), Carousel (Opera North, Barbican & Théâtre du Châtelet-Paris as Associate Lighting Designer), Studio Nights (English National Opera) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Royal Scottish Conservatoire). Theatre credits include Noughts and Crosses (Royal Shakespeare Company, UK Tour), The Revenger’s Tragedy (Webber Douglas Studio), Wonderlands, Joie de Vivre, Hooray for Hollywood, Broadway Legends and Noitamina (Orchard Theatre). Dance credits include Orpheus for Ballet Black, Phantasy for Rambert Ballet and numerous contemporary dance pieces with Royal Ballet artists and associates. Warren has also lit many musical productions within British Prisons as part of Pimlico Opera’s Outreach Project.
