Per Lindström was born and raised in Härnösand. He has sung opera since the autumn of 2012 when he began studying at the Kapellsberg Opera Studio in Härnösand. In the autumn of 2015, Per was accepted to the opera programme at the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg, from where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in June 2018. During his studies, Per performed a number of major roles such as Don José in Carmen, the title role in The Tales of Hoffman, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Gabriel von Eisenstein in The Batman. Per has also performed the role of Aubry in The Vampire at Läckö Castle. In the autumn of 2018 he sang the role of Alfredo in La Traviata at the Norrland Opera House and in spring 2019, he played Jonah in Humanoid at the Konzert Theater Bern. Concertante works include Handel, Bach, Britten and Beethoven.
