Lucy Carter

Lucy Carter received the Knight of Illumination Award for Dance for Chroma and in 2015 for Woolf Works.

Theatre include: Oil (Almeida Theatre), The End of Longing (Playhouse Theatre) Medea, Blurred Lines and Emil and the Detectives (National Theatre), Husbands and Sons (National Theatre and Royal Exchange Manchester), Love and Money and Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (Royal Exchange, Manchester).

Opera includes: Fiddler on the Roof (Grange Park Opera), La finta giardiniera (Glyndebourne), Grimes on the Beach (Aldeburgh Productions), Lohengrin (Welsh National Opera and Polish National Opera).

Lucy is the main collaborator with choreographer Wayne McGregor. Their work includes CHROMA, INFRA, Carbon Life, Multiverse (Royal Ballet), Borderlands at San Francisco Ballet; FAR and Entity, Dyad 1929, Amu, Digito1, AtaXia and Nemesis for Random; Woolf Works, The Art of Fugue, Raven Girl, Carbon Life, Live Fire Exercise, Limen, Infra, Chroma and Qualia, Dido and Aeneas and Acis and Galatea (Royal Opera/Royal Ballet), Outlier (New York City Ballet) Dyad 1909 (Australian Ballet), Kirikou and Karaba (musical), L’Anatomie de la Sensation, and Genus (Paris Opéra Ballet); Skindex and Renature (Netherlands Dance Theatre).
