Mezzo-soprano Katarina Giotas graduated from the University College of Opera in Stockholm in 2000 but had already made her debut in 1998 as Cherubino inthe Marriage of Figaro at Confidencen in Stockholm, a role she has since performed with great success at other venues such as the Folk Opera and the Göteborg Opera. At the Göteborg Opera, Katarina Giotas has sung the roles of Suzuki in an earlier production of Madame Butterfly, Fyodor in Boris Godunov and Amschel inK.
