Kajsa Reingardt

Kajsa Reingardt is an Actor, Musical Artist, Singer and Director. She trained at the Malmö Theatre Academy. Kajsa made her debut as Hedvig in the Wild Duck at Malmö City Theatre in 1980. Following her debut, Kajsa continued to perform at the Malmö City Theatre in roles such as Nora in A Doll's House, the title role in Anne Frank and Nina in the Seagull. During this time, Kajsa was also an active member of the Malmö TV ensemble, performing, among others, in the Yngsjö Murder and Esarparen in the television series Skånska Mord (Skåne Murders).

In 1992, Kajsa moved to Stockholm where she debuted as Desdemona in Othello. She is now a permanent member of the Stockholm City Theatre ensemble. Kajsa Reingardt has over the years made guest appearances at, among others, the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra, Malmö Opera and Consternate.

Musical roles and performances include Avril/Mallory in the City of Angels, Mrs Johnston in Blood Brothers at the Malmö Opera, Madame Emery in the Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Mama Morton in Chicago, Grandma Edna in Billy Elliot at the Stockholm City Theatre and Olga in As it is in Heaven at Oscarsteatern. Kajsa Reingardt’s repertoire also includes a number of popular shows at the Stockholm City Theatre where she, among others, sang and interpreted works by Cole Porter and Cornelis Vreeswijk.
