Felix Buxton is a Composer, Music Producer and Creative Visionary. As a member of the music duo Basement Jaxx, he has won a Grammy and Brit Award for the Best British Dance Act. Basement Jaxx have toured around the world with their legendary shows for twenty years. Felix has together with Jules Buckley and Metropole Orkest, recorded an orchestral album and created a contemporary street dance and ballet show for the Barbican Performing Arts Centre in London. Felix is fully committed to the non-profit organisation Peace One Day and is also a patron of the London Ballet Company.
His keen interest in the healing properties of sound has led to him giving talks at conferences and start an a cappellachoir together with London Contemporary Voices. Felix is currently, among other things, writing a musical and recording an album featuring waltz music and lullabies.
His seven-year-long collaborations with Sound Engineer Duncan F. Brown has proven to be very valuable for this project.
