Eva-Lotta Ohlsson, soprano, trained at the University of Gothenburg School of Theatre and Opera. She made her début in 2006 as Donna Fulvia in La Pietra del Paragone at Läckö Slottsopera. Following on from that was Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare, Sandrina in La Finta Giardiniera, Micaela in Carmen, Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, Valencienne in The Merry Widow and musical roles such as Maria in The Sound of Music, Magnolia in Showboat, Maria in West Side Story and Eliza in My Fair Lady. In the Göteborg Opera production of The Magic Flute, she sang the roles of Papagena in 2009 and Pamina in 2012. At the Göteborg Opera, she has also sung the role of Gianetta in L'elisir d'amore, Musetta in Bohème, Adele i Die Fledermaus, Barbarina i Le Nozze di Figaro, Julia i Romeo & Juliet, Crobyle i Thaïs, Flower Girl in Parsifal, and the Second Water Nymph in Rusalka. Eva-Lotta Ohlsson is also frequently engaged as a concert singer. She was awarded the Jenny Lind Scholarship in 2009, which led on to tours of countries such as Canada and the USA.
