Denny Lekström began his acting career as a child in Tjadden Hällström’s summer productions at Gamla Linköping Open-Air Museum and then went on to work as a child actor at Östgötateatern in productions such as Pillars of Society and Oliver!.
Following studies at the Ballet Academy of Gothenburg, he played the lead role in Peter Pan at Lisebergsteatern and performed in Östgötateatern’s production of Chicago, in which he played the twittering soprano Mary Sunshine. At Östgötateatern, Denny has also appeared in the musical The Addams Family, Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale, as an actor in Shakespeare’s Hamlet and in the British play Bluebird. At Uppsala Stadsteater he was cover for the role of the Master of Ceremonies in the musical Cabaret, and he has performed in Stockholm's Stadsteater’s production of Chicago. He appeared most recently at the Göteborg Opera as Riff in West Side Story.
