Swedish born Daniel Carlsson has studied in Vadstena, Sweden and the Royal Danish Music Academy in Copenhagen. He graduated as counter tenor in 2009. His engagements include Der Fabelsohn in Hans Gefors' The Park at the Malmö Opera, as well as roles in Purcell's Fairy Queen at the Royal Opera Copenhagen, David Bruce's opera Nothing at the Danish National Opera and numerous concert engagements. He was soloist with Concerto Copenhagen in Händel's Brockes Passion on a European tour and has been reinvited by the renown Eric Ericsson Choir. Daniel Carlsson has worked with conductors like Stephen Layton, Olof Boman, Joakim Unander, Benjamin Bayl and Patrik Ringborg.
