After graduating from INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences) in mechanical engineering and then Technical Direction for the Performing Arts at ENSATT (National School of Arts and Theater Techniques), he becomes deputy technical director of Les Subsistances in Lyon, a laboratory helping artists explore the boundaries of performing arts. In 2011 he went to New York to lead the technical work on the first editions of the Walls & Bridges festival, an event blurring the lines between literature and performance, created by Guy Walter, director of Villa Gillet in Lyon. In 2012, he began collaborating with Maguy Marin, as stage manager on tour with renowned pieces such as May B, Salves and Umwelt. He has also lead all the set and prop construction for her latest productions, including BiT and Ligne de Crête. Since 2017, Albin is the technical manager of all Yoann Bourgeois' projects within the CCN2 in Grenoble and he works closely with Yoann Bourgeois on the design of his physical and scenographic devices which are the core of his creative process.
