Dans. Katapult is a way for the dancers to develop and challenge their creativity, as well as for the audience to meet the dancers in a more intimate context.

katapult Latin catapu´lta, from the Greek katape´ltēs, ’to throw’, ’to hurl’

For two evenings, dancers from GöteborgsOperans Danskompani show off some different sides of creative talents. Come and meet them and the way they interpret the theme of this dance season – Mind & Spirit – in photo exhibitions, films, installations and, of course, dance. To challenge and develop their creativity, dancers at times work with art-forms other than dance. This time, the audience gets the chance to see Katapult, which is also to be part of the Gothenburg Dance & Theatre Festival.
