Jubilee Concert
Come celebrate with us as the Göteborg Opera's Children and Youth Choirs celebrate 10 years, together with friends from near and far.
We celebrate the joy of singing with a friendly, energetic concert, with first performances of new music written by and for our choirs, specifically for this occasion.
The concert begins with the Children's Choir performing lyrics on the theme ”The Power of Music”, composed by Johanna Fridolfsson. Then follows a mini-opera Euridices Song, composed by John Barber with the libretto by Hazel Gold. The Youth Choir created much of the text and music together with the composer and librettist at a workshop last autumn, which created the foundation for the opera. Then there will be more song and music, performed together with our friends from Norrlandsoperans Children's Choir and the Malmö Opera Children's Choir.
Two choir members will present the concert, together with Malin Aghed, the manager for Skapa.
Family tickets for the Jubilee Concert
Choose the number of adults and children which suits your group. Base prices are 1 adult and 1 child, SEK 300. Then you pay SEK 100 per child (up to 20 years old) and SEK 200 per adult.
