Who steers the 1 100 spotlights? What is hidden in the secret corridors? How does a stage manager work? And why is there a sudden blackout on the Main stage? You will get all the answers if you go on one of our guided tours.
Rolf Nilsson, guide at the Göteborg Opera, knows the opera house like the back of his hand. “It’s fun to tell people about what happens behind the scenes,” he says.

Dramatized guided tours for children
Join Opera-Amalia and Gustav the janitor behind the scenes in the opera house. An eventful exploration where the imaginative prima donna Opera-Amalia presents the hpuse (and herself) while the proper caretaker Gustav is fully occupied making sure everything is correct. On the guided tour, the children will discover the opera house from the inside and see examples of everything that happens in the different departments.
For children 5-11 years old.
Price: SEK 35/child.
Each child can bring max. 1 adult. Limited number of places.
