Ohad was already 22 years old when he began dance lessons, but became one of the modern dance world’s most interesting and acclaimed modern dancers and choreogrpahers. In Mr. Gaga filmmaker Tomer Heymann created a nuanced portrait of his friend from over 1200 hours of raw material – presenting the man who created the new “dance language” Gaga, which was to rewrite the rules for modern dance. Ohad’s work as artistic director for the Israeli Batsheva Dance Company helped the company to develop into one of the world’s best. Mr Gaga won the Stefan Jarl International Documentary Award at Tempo Documentary Festival in 2016.
