A Christmas Tale
Revival premiere for the Christmas musical by Tobias Ahlsell, David Lundqvist and Anders Wängdahl, based on Dickens’ classic story. Performed in Swedish.

The mean and grumpy Scrooge hates everything and everyone. Especially Christmas. And he simply can’t abide happy, generous and loving togetherness. Or so he thinks, until the night when the spirit of his dead friend Marley pays him a visit. In the guise of three ghosts, his friend takes Scrooge on an adventure through the past, present and future. The night transforms Scrooge and opens his heart to others.
Directed by Erik Ståhlberg, Dickens’s classic tale is transformed into a musical filled with humour, compassion and the odd spooky ghost — peppered with musical numbers, opera, pop, rap and classic Christmas carols! Here a Victorian flavour meets a colourful carnival atmosphere, Barry White, Oliver Twist, snowfall, and flashing disco lights.
