Love ❤
Creation by Roni Haver/Guy Weizman
Amazing lover, perfect parent, amusing friend and understanding soulmate. And sexy, too! Is that even possible? Can any one person be all of those things? Love is a portrait of love in the millennial generation, characterized by endless choices and a fear of missing out. It’s a frenzied pursuit of love as a cure for loneliness in a superficial world, where everything has a price. Roni Haver and Guy Weizman ("Director of the Year" in the Netherlands 2018) have previously danced with Ohad Naharin’s Batsheva Dance Company. Today, they run their own dance company Club Guy & Roni, from which several dancers are participating on stage, together with the dancers from GöteborgsOperans Dance company.

Solo Echo
Creation by Crystal Pite
”Expansive, masterful dance”— Göteborgs-Posten
Crystal Pite is very selective about the dance companies she works with. In her first encounter with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, she gave them "Solo Echo", created in 2012 for the Nederlands Dans Theater, where she is associate choreographer.
"Solo Echo" was inspired by two sonatas for cello and piano by Johannes Brahms, and the poem "Lines for Winter" by Mark Strand. As in Strand’s poem, "Solo Echo" invokes winter, music, and the moving body to express something essential about acceptance and loss.
Running time – 30 min
Dancers – 7
