The Israeli choreographer Sharon Eyal has created a stream of critically acclaimed works for prominent dance companies over the last ten years. The acclaimed ”Autodance” was her second work for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. As always, Eyal masterfully integrates seamless dance, a pulsing tempo and electric techno vibes. It’s seamlessly explosive, achingly sensual.
Solo echo, by Crystal Pite

Love, loss and acceptance are at the heart of Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite’s stunning dance piece ”Solo Echo”. The choreography is based on a poem by Mark Strand called Lines for Winter, along with two melancholy sonatas for cello and piano by Johannes Brahms. The powerful, refined movements of the dancers capture transience and loss. Featuring gently falling snowflakes, melancholic thoughts of winter are awakened. ”Solo Echo” was created for Nederlands Dans Theater in 2012.

Introductions
All dance performances (except premieres and guest performances) begin with an introduction. These ordinary, verbal introductions give you interesting information about the creation, and start 1 hour before the performance. They last about 20 minutes and are held on the Small Stage.
