37°/SUBURBIA 2015

You can't get any closer. A weird and wonderful visit under the surface, 37°/Suburbia 2015 explores our subconscious and the underworld of the opera house.

Along a guided tour you will experience the backstage, sub-levels and the inner mechanics of the opera house through dance installations.

Five of the installations are created by members of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani: Toby Kassell, Stephan Laks, Danielle de Vries, Pascal Marty and Oleg Stepanov. The company's Artistic Director, Adolphe Binder, is responsible for the sixth piece. The seventh piece is created by chef Douglas Spiik, expert on molecular gastronomy.

37°/Suburbia is a part of this dance season's theme Wonderland – weird and wonderful.
