Dinner at the Göteborg Opera.
The restaurant opens two hours before the curtain rises. If you wish you can eat your starter and main course before the performance and save the coffee and dessert for the interval. We have room for 150 guests and all of the tables have a view of the Göta River.
A small practical but important detail is that the food is always served in good time before the performance so that you can eat at your own pace and without stress. “The guests are here for the food and the performance and they get a fantastic experience,” says Ousienou Mbye, head waiter at the Göteborg Opera.
An organic kitchen.

"Much of what we have in the kitchen is already certified organic and fair-trade, and cultivated in a way that does not have a negative effect on the environment. But we do not stop there. We are constantly working to increase the amount of organic food we serve," says Kristina Hauge, restaurant manager.
Have lunch at the edge of the quay.
The restaurant at the Göteborg Opera serves lunch from Monday to Friday between 11.30 and 14.00. Please book a table.
If you choose the business lunch you can choose between several different starters, side dishes, main courses and desserts. The lunch of the day always includes salad, coffee, a piece of chocolate and fruit.

Book in advance.
If you wish to be certain of getting a table in connection with a performance we recommend that you book in advance. You can also choose to have a drink and eat something light during the interval. In that case you can place an order with the head waiter an hour before the performance begins.
