Lunch is served Monday to Friday 11.30-14.00. Salad, coffee, fruit and a piece of chocolate are always included in the price.
We support sustainable fishing, so we follow The Swedish Environmental Management Council's criteria for seafood. Not only that, but fish caught in Swedish waters are checked against the Swedish Species Information Centre's database, and of course we procure organic seafood when at all possible.

Göteborg Opera Restaurant takes another step in our environmental work and excludes meat products from our lunch menu on Wednesdays.

Ground beef patty with fried onions, boiled potatoes, jus, lingonberries preserved raw and pickled cucumber.
On Mondays sweets are included with coffee.
MSC certified fillet of cod poached in white wine, served with pureed potatoes, egg, horse-radish and browned butter.
Seared fillet of salmon with potato terrine flavoured with apple and herbs, served with sugar peas and chives hollandaise.
Coq au vin with organic fillet of chicken thigh, bacon, mushrooms and red onion, served with pureed potatoes.
MSC certified fillet of hake baked in tikka masala sauce, served with jasmine rice and yoghurt pickled vegetables.

Caramelized chocolate mousse with cherry meringue.

Indian lentil and bean casserole with deep-fried rice balls and papadum.
