Our cafés open an hour before the curtain call and provide a wide selection of original beverages, sandwiches and sweets.
The Göteborg Opera has four cafés: two at the entry level, one at the first floor and one on the second floor. If you order refreshments ahead of the intermission, they will be ready for you in the designated area when you come out of the auditorium. Please place your order at least one hour before the performance in the café closest to the section where you're sitting. Since November 2011 everything under The Göteborg Opera Restaurant umbrella, including cafés and cloakrooms, is a Svanen certified operation. We care about the environment, and in addition to organic alternatives our consumables such as napkins and cups are also environmentally certified.

If the production features an introductory talk, the cafés open 90 minutes before the performance starts.
