Our cafés open an hour before the curtain rises and they have a repertoire all of their own in the form of drinks, sandwiches and sweets.
The Göteborg Opera has three cafés. There is one on the ground floor and the others are on the first and second balconies. When you order refreshments for the interval everything will be served on the table as requested when you come out from the auditorium. Place your order at least 30 minutes before the performance, in the café that is closest to the section you are sitting in. There are organic options at all of the cafés.
"A great deal of the disposable material we use is environmentally friendly. It is made of maize and becomes water when it is broken down. Our environmental concern is present in all things large and small - even the serviettes are environmentally certified," Ousienou Mbye, head waiter at the Göteborg Opera, adds.
Tip.
