Mama, I’m Coming Home by Guy Weizman/Roni Haver confronts us through social reflection, humor and dynamic vocabulary. Raw and exciting in their approach, they explore the migrant body, soul and longing through a blend of dance, text, music and visuals. Live music performed on stage plays an important role. Guy Weizman and Roni Haver, the inventive duo behind Mama, I’m Coming Home, are Israeli choreographers based in the Netherlands. The recurring theme is personal liberation of the individual in different political and social contexts. The movement vocabulary is innovative and raw and the result is often an intriguing, seductive and dynamic. In 2002, they founded Club Guy & Roni.
