Fading.

Dance performance by helena franzén.

“The music fits perfectly with the energy flow of the dancers’ movements.” / Borås tidning

Helena Franzén is a scrupulous choreographer who never compromises on quality. Her work Fading consists of fluid contrasts between both movement and space. With utter precision she emphasises the small, silent things like a breeze passing through the room, placing her faith in the importance of delicate moments. “I want to create a sense of being exposed, a kind of nakedness - but it should be a choice to expose oneself in this way and safe to do so.”

Composer Jukka Rintamäki composed the music for Fading. He has previously composed the music to OreloB, Kenneth Kvarnström’s work for the Göteborg Ballet’s successful production 3XBoléro.
