The Göteborg Opera nomin|ated for the Swedish Design Prize 2017

Voting for the underwater images & visual identity runs 11-17 September 2017.
Our printed Season Programme and the underwater image series - featuring singers, musicians and dancers - have both been nominated for the Swedish Design Award. The Season Programme in the Information/Print category, and the photos in Visual Communication/Photo. Our new visual identity has also been nominated, in the Identity - Graphic Identity category.

The season program was designed by Camilla Simonson, art director here at the Göteborg Opera. The underwater images are the combined efforts of Camilla Simonson, photographer Mats Bäcker and Muhammad Ali – who retouched and processed the photos. Our new visual identity was created by Happy F&B.
“To be honored with such a prestigious nomination is a wonderful validation for the thorough, curious and quite daring work that we have done,” says Lena Jaksch, the Marketing Manager for the Göteborg Opera.
The Swedish Design Prize is a competition in graphic communication, which has a goal to encourage and develop Swedish graphic design. The winners will be presented at Rondo in Gothenburg on 19 October 2017.
