Philosophy of sponsorship.

The Göteborg Opera’s mission statement is to become one of the leading opera houses in Northern Europe. Since we opened in 1994 we have been able to stage a number of performances that had previously not been possible in Göteborg. Our repertoire of opera, dance and musicals attracts an increasingly diverse and dedicated audience to our house.

But in order to reach our goal we need resources. We are constantly engaged in strengthening our relations with the private sector and seek to make GöteborgsOperan a natural corporate meeting place.

By sponsoring the Göteborg Opera you choose to support a productive and varied cultural sector in Göteborg and western Sweden that contributes to the establishment of a competitive region in which to live, work and operate.

You reach an attractive and affluent target group and at the same time you get the opportunity to use our unique building as a meeting place where you can strengthen personal relations - both external and internal.
