Most of the soloists in the cast are opera singers and some have training for musicals.
"Our repertoire stretches over everything from baroque to French Romanticism to chamber opera and German magnum opus,” says opera director Lise-Lotte Axelsson. “Plus musicals of course. The soloists at The Göteborg Opera are given the opportunity to try out most genres."
