Shogo Yoshii is a musician exploring the limitless possibilities of the traditional Japanese drum, the taiko, percussion, bamboo flutes, kokyu (Japanese violin). Since 2007 he is a member of the japanese music centre Kodo, engaged in teaching and developing traditional japanese music. In 2010, he joined the musical ensemble of the dance production Babel (words), choreographed and directed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet. In the same year, he was music director and performer in Arte y Solera's flamenco piece, Dojiji. He composed parts of the music in Fractus V (2015) and is also part of the ensemble for this piece, which tours worldwide.
