Sara Jangfeldt received her training at the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg. At The Göteborg Opera she performed in West Side Story, Evita and A Chorus Line, as well as playing the leading woman's role in Stop the World! - I Want to Get Off by Lois Lane/Bianca in Kiss me Kate.
On the Lilla stage at The Göteborg Opera in 2003 she gave her Dorothy Parker performance Enough Rope which she also gave at Stockholm’s Stadsteater, “Musik på Slottet” (Music at the Castle), Victoria in Malmö as well as in New York, Moscow and on the isle of Capri. The music has also been released on CD and in 2005 Swedish Television made an award-winning film based on Enough Rope.
Her performances include parts in Godspell at Parkteatern in Stockholm and Chess at Cirkus, and at Malmö Opera she has played the parts of Marta and The Spider Woman in Spindelkvinnans kyss (The Kiss of the Spider Woman).
For The Göteborg Opera in 2008 Sara wrote, together with Mathias Venge, the score for the rock musical Grymt! Most recently she has performed as The Conferencier Njegus in Suzanne Osten’s production of The Merry Widow at Folkoperan.
