Patrick Migas, dancer. Patrick Migas is from Essen in Germany and was trained in Hamburg, St. Petersburg and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He joined the Göteborg Ballet in 1998 after dancing in Schwerin in Germany. He also has also taken short leaves of absence to dance with the Zaragoza Ballet in Spain and the New Zealand Ballet. With the Göteborg Ballet his performances have included Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Albrecht in Mats Ek’s Giselle, Kolaren in The Nutcracker, and the King in Mats Ek’s Sleeping Beauty. Patrick has also started the free dance group Rumpus Room Dance Compny together with Fernando Melo and Stephan Laks. He has also directed free theatre projects such as Nathan der Weise with 170 people on stage as a part of Essen beeing the Cultural Capital of Europe 2010. In march 2011 Patrick choreographed and directed the performance Raderna Emellan on the small stage of GöteborgsOperan.
