Palle Palmé (lighting design), works within several genres and was winner of the Guldmasken Award in 2007, Special Jury Prize. He has designed the lighting for a number of concert tours including Gyllene Tider, Per Gessle, Ulf Lundell, Rhapsody in Rock, Diggiloo, Lena+Orup, Magnus Ugglas Revy and all of Joe Labero's shows throughout the world since 1991, including Australia and Las Vegas. The musicals he has designed the lighting for include West Side Story, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Elton John's AIDA, Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, The Producers, Chicago and Evita. He has also worked with Victor Borge, the Cullberg Ballet and the Monte Carlo Ballet, and has designed the lighting for the Bounce Streetdance Company's successful productions of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Score and The Last Bounce. Palle Palmé has worked on shows throughout the world, including circus and magic festivals in Monte Carlo, and TV shows like the Grammis Gala and the Guldbaggen Swedish film awards, and has designed company events world-wide, including at the Deutsche Bank twin towers in Frankfurt and the Telia exhibition stand in Geneva for which he won a Best Lightdesign Award. Sweden's exhibition stand at the World Expo in Zaragosa. At the Göteborg Opera, Palle has previously designed the lighting for Cats in 2006, The Brothers Lionheart in 2007, and Guys and Dolls in 2009. In 2006, he was the stage designer and lighting designer for the European Athletic Championships opening ceremony at Götaplatsen.
