Mia Ringblom Hjertner
Born in Stockholm, trained at the Ballet Academy's Musikalartistlinje in Gothenburg. She has performed in Les Misérables in Copenhagen, and My Fair Lady at Oscars in Stockholm. At LänsTeatern in Skaraborg she has played Huldran in Trätornas träsk, Rizzo in Grease, and Rosemary in Maratondansen. For nine seasons she was an actress, director and artistic director at Astrid Lindgrens Värld.
At The Göteborg Opera she played the leading roles in Marilyn Monroe, the children operas Junker Nils av Eka and Blodeuwedd , and performed in The Beauty and the Beast, Lindgatan 5, The Beuaty and the Beast, The Rocky Horror Show, Bröderna Lejonhjärta, I nöd och lust and Erik & Eva.
Between 2009 and 2014, Mia Ringblom Hjertner was in charge of The Göteborg Opera Unga (Young), Opera/Drama, initiativ the Childrens' Chorus and The Story Foyer as well as directing several productions for children and young adults.
Mia Ringblom Hjertner has also directed the world premieres of the childrens' opera Min mamma är en drake and the opera musical Lasse-Majas Detektivbyrå Operamysteriet.
