Maria Nyström

Maria Nyström comes from Uppsala. She trained in modern dance at the Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm and at the Rotterdamse Dansacademie. Prior to joining the Göteborg Ballet in 2004 she worked with the choreographer, Peter de Rauter, and was a trainee with the Scapino Ballet in Rotterdam. With the Göteborg Ballet her performances have included Antonia in Re:Tchaikovsky, and Falling Angels, Chameleon, Hon Var Svart, Georgia, Wind Around My Heart, and The Waiting.
