Linus Fellbom, light designer, has produced lighting for over 200 productions on theatre and opera stages across the world. The most recent ones include A Midsummer Night's Dream at Vienna State Opera, Don Giovanni at the opera in Florence, Macbeth at the Greek National Opera in Athens, Thaïs at LA Opera, The Barber of Seville at the opera in Rome, a world tour with the hardcore band Refused from Norrland (in northern Sweden) as well as Mats Ek's latest full-length work for the Royal Swedish Ballet, Juliet and Romeo. At the Göteborg Opera, his previous work includes A Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, Mozart's Requiem and Thaïs. In 2005, he made his debut as a director and has since directed works such as Shakespeare's Richard III and Strindberg's Creditors for Riksteatern Theatre Company, Weber's Der Freischütz at Folkoperan and Maria Callas – Unanswered life at the Stockholm City Theatre. As a stage designer, his works have included Jorma Elo's work Red in 3. for the Stuttgart Ballet, La Bohème at NorrlandsOperan and L'Orfeo for Wermland Opera. During autumn 2014, he has been working with direction, stage design, light design and translation for the Riksteatern production The God Helmet. In 2014, Linus was awarded the newly established Medea Award in stage arts for the best light design.
