Linus Börjesson, baritone Trained at the University College of Opera in Stockholm and, before that, he sang for a year in the Göteborg Opera Chorus. His made his debut in 2006 in Verdi's Rigoletto at Folkoperan in Stockholm where he played the two roles Marullo and Count Ceprano alternately. In 2007, he sang Elviro in Handel's Xerxes at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre and, that same summer, Carlo Gustavo in Jacopo Foroni's Christina di Svezia at Vadstena Academy. He has also performed in song recitals and sacred contexts, e.g. at Stockholm's Berwaldhallen concert hall and the Stockholm Concert Hall, in works such as Mozart's Requiem, Sven-David Sandström's Ordet (Eng: The Word) and Carl Nielsen's Symphony No 3. Linus Börjesson has been awarded, for example, the Swedish Wagner Society's Bayreuth scholarship. At the Göteborg Opera, Linus Börjesson has previously played the role of the Duke of Osuna in Goya.
