Lina Räftegård is a movement instructor, trained at the Performing Arts School in Gothenburg, and has worked as a freelance dancer since 1994 and since 1997 as a dancer and dance captain with David Radok and Håkan Mayer in several of The Göteborg Opera's productions: The Journey to Reims, The Barber of Seville, Don Giovanni, Cinderella, La Traviata, K. Beschreibung eines Kampfes, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, The Rake's Progress and Rusalka. She has also participated in the traditional Christmas concert Jultrad-i-ton, Eugen Onegin and The Magic Flute.
Lina Räftegård was assistant choreographer at the Royal Danish Theatre for The Journey to Reims, Cinderella and La Traviata and also performed there as a dancer in Under Himlen. She has participated in dance pieces by Gun Lund, Peter Svenzon and Olof Persson. She worked as Assistant Director to Elisabeth Linton in the Vadstena Academy production of Tidsströmmar - tre operor om oss and Spring Awakening at Aalborg Teater in Denmark. At the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 2005, Lina Räftegård performed both as a dancer and choreographer in David Radok's Barber of Seville. She was choreographer in Musikhuset Aarhus’ Skriftestolen, Hellmans Drengar's Christmas concert and in The Göteborg Opera's production of Rusalka. In 2011 she acted in Ruben Östlund's film Play.
