Isabel Ines Glathar
Isabel Ines Glathar, costume design Studied costume design at the art schools of Basel, Zurich, Hamburg and stage design in Stuttgart. She designed for many opera houses and theatre companies in German cities for example Kiel, Bremen, Mannheim, Cologne. But since 1992 mainly in Berlin at the Deutsche Oper, collaborating with Götz Friedrich in Der Rosenkavalier, Der fliegende Holländer, Oedipe, Ballo in maschera amongst others and Günter Krämer in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny and Dialogues des Carmélites. International commitments brought her to the Vienna State Opera and La Juive with Günter Krämer and from there the opera houses of Zurich, Bukarest, Tel Aviv, New York, Vilnius and Venice. Since 2006 her main focus is on her art, specially painting and installations, her exhibitions have been around Germany.
