Isabel Fortes

Isabel Fortes, dancer. Isabel Fortes comes from Göteborg where she trained at Balletakademin. Prior to joining the Göteborg Ballet in 1994 she danced freelance working with, amongst others, Ivo Cramér, Birgit Cullberg, Folkoperan in Stockholm, Stora Teatern and Östgötaballeten. With the Göteborg Ballet her performances include Petite Mort, Falling Angels, Arcangelo, Bella Figura, Sechs Tänze, Enemy In The Figure, R.A.M., Hon Var Svart and Georgia. She has also danced the Chosen One in The Rite of Spring and the title role in The Firebird.
