Professor Ingo Diehl, Director of the Masters study programme MA CoDE (Contemporary Dance Education) and Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts of the HfMDK, Frankfurt (DE).
Ingo started an international career as a dancer, performer, rehearsal director and curator. 2005–2011 he was in charge of all educational issues of Tanzplan Deutschland, an initiative by the German Federal Cultural Foundation. In this capacity, he nationally developed the "Biennale Tanzausbildung" and directed the research project "Dance Techniques 2010". He is co-founder of Diehl + Ritter gUG and Tanzfonds, and since April 2012 has been leading the internationally oriented Master study program MA CoDE (Contemporary Dance Education) at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main. In this context he initiates new educational collaborations with festivals, dance houses or other partners. The development of innovative formats such as "Physical Introduction“ is part of the the created curriculum. In addition to his teaching activities, Ingo Diehl is regularly active as a board member, consultant and expert at dance venues, various festivals and panels, as well as in the context of dance policies.
