Ingemar Anderson, tenor
has been a soloist at The Göteborg Opera since 1996 and has sung roles here that include The Blind Man in Aniara, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Goro in Madame Butterfly, the four servants in The Adventures of Hoffmann, Count Libenskoff in The Journey to Reims, Bogdanowitsch in The Merry Widow, the Captain in Wozzeck, Beppo in Pajazzo, Remendado in Carmen, Macduff in Jan Sandström's opera Macbeth² and The Manservant/Prince/Marquis in Lulu.
In addition, Valzacchi in Der Rosenkavalier, Ajax in La belle Hélène, Chekalinsky in The Queen of Spades, Tisbe in La Cenerentola, Barak's hunchbacked brother in Die Frau ohne Schatten, Prince Shuysky in Boris Godunov, Bardolfo in Falstaff, Count Elemer in Arabella, Belmonte in Il Seraglio, Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, soloist in Mozart's Requiem, Dr Blind the Lawyer in Die Fledermaus, A Priest/First Armoured Man in The Magic Flute, Kunz Vogelgesang in the Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Sellem in The Rake's Progress and the Count of Lerma in Don Carlos. Most recently we have seen him play the First Jew in Salome, the Village Drunk in Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District, and the Emperor in Turandot. Ingemar Anderson has also made guest appearances at NorrlandsOperan and Malmö Opera.
