Ingemar Anderson

Ingemar Andersson is educated at Musikhögskolan in Malmö and started in the chorus of Stora Teatern in 1985. He also sang solo parts like Den Store Fången in Från Döda Huset, Morfeus i Orpheus in the Underworld, sångförsäljaren in Kappan, Spinnellocchio in Gianni Schicchi and Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd.

In 1996 Ingemar Anderson was appointed soloist at the Göteborg Opera and has since sung parts like The Blind Man in Aniara, Dr Blind in Die Fledermaus, Don Curzio in Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Goro in Madama Butterfly, Larsson i Floda in Werle's opera Äppelkriget, Lönnegren and Abbot in the highly acclaimed musical Kristina from Duvemåla, Spoletta in Tosca, Count Libenskoff in Rossini's comedy Il Viaggio a Reims, the four servants in Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Bogdanowitch in The Merry Widow, which was also shown on TV, Gaston in La Traviata, the Captain in Wozzeck, Beppo in Pajazzo, Loge in Niebelungen Ring, a musical/scenic compact version of Wagner's work, and Remendado in Carmen, Nobleman in Lohengrin, Macduff in Macbeth², Orderly in Aida, First Deputy in Les Dialogues des Carmelites, Lantern lighter in Manon Lescaut and Prince, Servant and Marquis in Lulu, Valzacchi in Der Rosenkavalier, Ajax I in La Belle Helene and Tchekalinsky in Pique Dame. He has also made guest soloist appearances at Norrlandsoperan and Malmö Musikteater.
