Hokuto Kodama
Hokuto Kodama, dancer. Hokuto Kodama was born in Japan and got his education at Tokyo Ballet Works and San Francisco Ballet School, USA. Then he went on to work with Atlanta Ballet for four years and the to Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal in Canada as first soloist. Hokuto has danced leading roles in works by Ohad Naharin, Jirí Kylián, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Stijn Celis, Didy Veldman and Christopher Weldon. He has also won several international ballet competitions. Hokuto Kodama joined The Göteborg Ballet in 2008 and we have seen him in pieces by Johan Inger, Wim Vandekeybus and Mats Ek.
