Eva-Lotta Ohlsson
Eva-Lotta Ohlsson received a large part of her training at The University College of Opera in Gothenburg. In the summer of 2006 she sang Donna Fulvia in Rossini’s opera La Pietra del Paragone at Läckö Castle Opera and in the summer of 2008 in The Marriage of Figaro at Skånska operan. Some other roles in her repertoire are Valencienne in The Merry Widow, Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, Sandrina in La Finta Giardiniera as well as roles in musicals such as Magnolia in Show Boat, Velma in Chicago and Maria in both The Sound of Music and West Side Story.
At the Gothenburg Opera she has sung the Flower Girl in Parsifal, Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro, Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, a few performances as Suzanne (Adèle) in Die Fledermaus and Musetta in Bohème. Most recently she was seen as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and a few performances as Pamina in the same production.
She has recently toured the US and Sweden as a 2009 Jenny Lind scholarship holder. Eva-Lotta Ohlsson is also very much in demand as a concert singer.
