Eva-Lotta Ohlsson, soprano, trained at the University of Gothenburg School of Theatre and Opera. She made her début in 2006 as Donna Fulvia in La Pietra del Paragone at Läckö Slottsopera. Following on from that was Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare, Sandrina in La Finta Giardiniera, Valencienne in The Merry Widow and musical roles such as Maria in The Sound of Music, Magnolia in Showboat, Maria in West Side Story and Eliza in My Fair Lady. In the Göteborg Opera production of The Magic Flute, she sang the roles of Papagena in 2009 and Pamina in 2012. At the Göteborg Opera, she has also sung the role of a Flower Maiden in Parsifal, Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro, Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Crobyle in Thaïs, Musetta in La Bohème and the Second Water Nymph in Rusalka in autumn 2012. Her most recent roles have included Ottilie in Im Weissen Rössl (Eng: The White Horse Inn) at Gunnebo House, and on tour with the Riksteatern Theatre Company, Micaëla in Carmen at Sweden's Opera på Skäret festival, and the Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia at the Vattnäs Konsertlada concert hall. Eva-Lotta Ohlsson is also frequently engaged as a concert singer. She was awarded the Jenny Lind Scholarship in 2009, which led on to tours of countries such as Canada and the USA.
