David Wilde

David Wilde, dancer. David Wilde is born in Dresden, Germany and also got his education in his hometown at The Palucca School. After school he was employed at the Semper Opera and danced with Ballet Dresden until 2003, when he joined The Göteborg Ballet. He has been seen on stage as the Father in She was black by Mats Ek, and in Petite Mort and Sechs Tänze by Jiri Kylian and Transfigured Night by Tero Saarinen. Between 2007 and 2010 David took leave of absence and was freelancing in Germany for a year. He also worked with Scapino Ballet for two seasons where he danced in Supernova by Marco Goecke and 7, 8 by George Reischl. David Wilde is back with the Göteborg Ballet from July 2010.
