Bobbi Jene Smith, dancer.
Born in USA. For the past seven years she has been creating and dancing in Israel. From 2005-2012 she was a member of the Batsheva Dance Company under the Artistic Direction of Ohad Naharin. She has worked with many choreographers including Sharon Eyal & Guy Bachar, Martha Clarke, and Austin McCorimick. Bobbi is an alumnus of The Juilliard School, North Carolina School of the Arts, and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She is a certified teacher of the movement language GAGA created by Ohad Naharin and teaches regularly at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. Currently she is working on a project titled Arrowed which she has written and directed. Arrowed will be performed every year of her life.
