Anna Grevelius, mezzo soprano studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at the Benjamin Britten international Opera School at the Royal College of Music in London. She was later accepted as Young Artist at the English National Opera. Among the roles she has sung are Annio in La Clemenza di Tito at La Monnaie in Brussels, Cherubino at the Opera National de Paris, Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Nero (The Coronation of Poppaea), Varvara (Káťa Kabanová) at the English National Opera, Kitty Oppenheimer in Dr. Atomic at Opéra National du Rhin, Proserpina (L'Orfeo) at Drottningholm Palace, 2nd Lady (The Magic Flute) at the Festival Aix-en-Provence.
In a concert setting, Anna Grevelius has sung under such conductors as Bernard Haitink, René Jacobs, Laurence Cummings and Leon Botstein with Akademie für Alte Musik, English Chamber Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra As a lieder singer, she has performed together with Roger Vignoles, Julius Drake, Graham Johnson and Joseph Middleton. Anna Grevelius' music is recorded at among others Harmonia Mundi (The Magic Flute), Hyperion Records (songs by Mendelssohn) and two live recordings of Wolf songs from Oxford Lieder Festival.
