costume designer, worked at Swedish Television between 1971 and 1995 where she created costumes for a large number of productions including The Best Intentions, which won the Palme d'Or in Cannes, and Kronbruden and The Rake's Progress, which both won the Prix Italia.
At Folkoperan in Stockholm she designed the costumes for Turandot and Lionardo, and at the Royal Swedish Opera for Tosca and the ballets Elementa, Herr Arnes Penningar and Pippi Longstocking. Other commissions have been at the Wermland Opera, Norrlandsoperan, Malmö Opera and Music Theatre, the Drottningholm Theatre, The Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen, Savonlinna in and the National Ballet of China in Beijing.
Her latest commissions include costumes for Tosca and Otello, both in Uppsala and for Der Ring des Nibelungen at Wermland Opera.
At The Göteborg Opera, Ann-Mari Anttila has designed costumes for the Journey to Reims, Wozzeck, La Traviata, Julius Caesar and Rusalka (all directed by David Radok), and for the ballets The Nutcracker and Anima.
