Alan Lucien Øyen

Alan Lucien Øyen is one of Norway's most popular artists, and his work as a director, choreographer and dramatist has met with great acclaim both in Norway and abroad.

Øyen established his own company in 2006 – Winter Guests – which has already toured in 16 countries on three continents.

Since 2009, Øyen has worked mainly as a director and dramatist. He has authored six plays, and last year he received the Norwegian Hedda Award for his five and a half hours-drama Coelacanth.

From January 2013, Alan Lucien Øyen is attached to the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet as an artist in residence and in-house choreographer.
