It's time to fill your autumn with new experiences

Salome, Tosca, Törnrosa (Sleeping Beauty) and Santa are just a few of the performances to be staged on the Göteborg Opera stage this autumn.

The opera season starts off as early as August with the concertante version of the Verdi opera Attila. September sees the première of the scandalous Richard Strauss opera Salome, directed by world famous director Peter Konwitschny. The last opera première of the season is Puccini's Tosca in November.

The Göteborg Ballet starts off the dance season with three world premières in October. Leinonen/Franzén/Zappalà is the name of the triple event and the choreographers behind it. In December Mats Ek returns with his modern classic Törnrosa (Sleeping Beauty).

The grand musical première of the autumn is West Side Story in September. The tickets have already been released but there are some seats remaining. Tickets to the regional musical Freuds cigarr (Freud's cigar) will be released later.

We will also offer dance and musical theatre for children and teenagers on the Small Stage, an orchestra concert and the Christmas Concert Jultrad-i-ton (Christmas Traditions).

We bid you welcome to a very exciting autumn full of events!
