Dance. In Workshop 2010 the dancers of the Göteborg Ballet let their creativity flow when creating short pieces for the other dancers of the company. Performed at Pustervik.
The Göteborg Ballet dances ground-breaking new works that will both surprise and challenge you. The goal is to be at the forefront of European contemporary dance. Tours and guest performances locally, nationally and internationally form an important part of the work to reach this goal. The Göteborg Ballet should be the first thing that comes to anybody's mind when curious about what direction European contemporary dance is taking.
In a season already full of world premières, the dancers of the Göteborg Ballet will now unleash their creativity. For Workshop 2010, a number of the dancers will each take on the role of choreographer and create a short piece for the other dancers of the company. The Göteborg Ballet has a tradition of encouraging members of the company to try their hand at choreography - a tradition that now has taken an exciting new turn. Workshop 2010 has been created in co-operation with Pustervik. Music, theatre, film, photography and performance - this performance has no barriers. Performed on 6 and 7 November at Pustervik.
